Hebron Girl Returns to California for Surgery

Ten-year-old Tarteel from Hebron was sent this week back to Sacramento to continue her plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has been sent two previous times there to the Shriners Hospital and hopefully, this will be her final operation. She was burned as a young girl when boiling water spilled onto her arms, chest, and legs. Dr. Hugh Vu is treating her. Dr. Vu was recently awared the PCRF's preseitious "Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Humanitarian Award" by the PCRF's Bay Area Chapter, who are also taking care of Tarteel and her mother.
